There are many things in my life that I regret. I have had days where I just reminice about what I should have done, instead of what I did do. I can not get too deep with my regrets. I feel like my life is too personal to share.
Since I am obligated to express a regret of mine, I will tell you about something as simple as my hair. One of the things I would go back in time to NOT do would be the time I put a relaxer in my hair. Not only did I get one relaxer, but I had two within the past 2 years. A relaxer is a bunch of chemicals in a product that a girl, or boy, would put in their hair to keep it straight, and to keep it down from such things as the weather and humidity.
I can not stand how my hair is now. It gets super dry, super quick. I use to have luscious, dark brown, kinky curls. So kinky that when they were pulled them down and let go, they would punch back up like springs on a bed. Do my curls do that now? Oh how I wish. Moral f the story, I miss my hair and I took it for granted. If I could go back in time to NOT relax my hair, I would.

Valuable Rice
Rice: Rice is the seed of the monocot plants Oryza sativa or Oryza glaberrima. As a cereal grain, it is the most widely consumed staple food for a large part of the world's human population, especially in Asia.
Most people think, why would Janasia value rice? Why would that be so important to her? Well I'm going to explain it to you. As a puertoriquena americana, rice is apart of my heritage. My spanish heritage uses rice in soups, main dishes, and sometimes as patties.
I value rice because it is my favorite food in the entire world. From black rice, to brown rice, to orange rice, to white rice, it is my favorite. Rice has so many different flavors and it has many different combinations with items such as beans, potatoes, and peas. Rice feels me up whenever I consume it, yet leaves me craving for more, even when I'm full!
Rice is an essential part of a diet. Rice gives amino acids (protein's building blocks) and vitamin B. Rice is also low in sodium, so it helps those individuals that have blood pressure. Since rice is abundant in carbohydrates, it acts as fuel for the body and aids in the normal functioning of the brain. Rice is an energy source.
Rice is such an easy and quick thing to make. So if anyone is looking fir something healthy and easy, rice is the ideal go to. Enjoy the new information

El Verano
My summer was very interesting! From a teenage girl's perspective, it was full of pointless drama, great tans, and "run away from home" trips. One specific thing that I did this summer was have my first summer fling.
This was the most interesting part of my summer. This is because I had never put so much effort into a relationship, since I'm usually the type to always like boys, but never be crazy for one. Well he eventually made me crazy, or at least I let him.
This would be the time where I would explain my romantic summer love that ended with a bouquet of roses, yet it really wasn't much of a happy ending. It didn't end with flowers and most definitely wasn't the happiest of all endings. There were brawls and there were arguments. Where my common sense was at the time, I am still unsure. The relationship, however, did teach me something valuable.
Eventually, the guy I fell for moved to Orlando with a piece of my adolescent heart. It hurt me that he left with a bad weight on his shoulders, but at least we were feeling the same guilt. The guilt of not apologizing when we had the chance to. Since he left, I realized that no guy is ever good enough for me until God says they are. The more I realized how far away my love was, the more distant we became when he was still here, was the time I became closer to the creator of this world.
So if someone had asked me if I enjoyed my summer, I'd reply with a "yes". Only because I learned what isn't valued and what is.

My name
My name is Janasia
As you already know
Miss crazy and caring from head to toe.
As most people can see,
I get a little frustrated
When people do the most and don't know how to say it.
"It's Juh-nae-shuh "
I loudly pronounce
As I clap my hands and I begin to pounce.
I do understand
My name is unusual
So I create nicknames for myself that are rueable.
Such as " nae, nasia, janae, and JJ,
Nae nerd, jdog, ninja and nae nae,
Nina, loca, peanut and nana,
Pero, noonie, cricket, mama.
Despite all alternatives,
I prefer my real name
It's unique and different so I have no shame.
I am prideful like a lion,
But a flower jumping high
My name was eaten by the Spanish
and spit up like a fly.
I am proud of my name
Because it fits me just right
Short, sweet and sassy
Like my personality and height
As you already know
Miss crazy and caring from head to toe.
